So as much as I hate to, I need to start looking for daycare options for Ryder. I don’t want to announce this for the world to see on facebook, so if any of you lady readers in Colorado have suggestions of good daycare options, please let me know. Or even if you’ve had bad experiences, I’d like to hear them so that I can know that I’m weighing all the options. This has been a big prayer issue for me, and it’s something that we need to have settled before I return to work after maternity leave. Currently, I have 3 days of the week covered, so I’m just looking to find someone/something that could watch Ryde 2 days per week.

Thank you!

  1. Just wanna say–it is okay Mic. I worked Daycare for nearly five years. It paid the bills. There are great peeps in some daycares–you have to just look for the place and people that suit. It isn't something you should feel guilty about. 🙂

If you have time, read this:
    It resonated with me…

    Love ya!

  2. Hey my friend, good to hear from you. Thanks for your thoughts – I appreciate them! I'll check out the link. Hope you both are well and blessed!

  3. One more thing – I've been looking for a book on that very topic as everything I read says Christian women should be at home. I don't have the option to be at home at this time. So I'm going to get the book. 🙂 Thanks for the link!!

  4. I like what your friend had to say. Don't feel guilty. It's okay. I've been there and done that. I would suggest Kristen who watched Rachel 'cause she's just awesome but it's a bit far of a drive. Will keep my ears open. Love you Mic!

  5. I would recommend trying to find a stay at home mom who wouldn't mind having an extra little one around. I think that is the best daycare situation. I did that for a year, but then the other mom and I both had another one. I didn't think I could handle two two year old and two newborns! Really, don't feel bad that you have to put him in daycare. God had already provided so much for you and he will continue to provide.
