So there is one thing that Mark and I completely agree on when it comes to which of our countries is better/worse at, and that is driving. Americans are terrible drivers. It’s really a source of irritation for me, because I rarely drove in the UK. And let me tell you that I did not miss my driver’s license or freedom to drive. I was quite happy to walk or take the bus. If I never had to drive again, that would be fine with me. And if I never have to deal with another Longmont driver, that would be fine with me as well. I don’t know if everyone is in a hurry to get there (apparently so) or has a bit of road rage (might be) or is just all about me, me, me (scary thought) or what, but American drivers are irritating. I miss the cautious, take their time, allow people to get in front of them, don’t drive like the world revolves around them British folk. If our societies were judged on driving ability only, Britain would win hands down.

That’s all I have to say about it.
